Matt Goss secretly chasing a date with Coronation Street star Kate Ford after ‘liking’ her sexy selfies on Instagram

I can reveal Matt Goss has secretly been pursuing Coronation Street star Kate Ford, who plays Tracy Barlow in the soap.
The pair have exchanged direct messages after he started liking her sexy selfies on social media — with pals saying she reminds him of his ex Mel Sykes.
A source explained: “Matt has made no secret that he’s an eligible bachelor and wants to find love again.
“He’s a fan of Corrie and has always had a bit of a soft spot for Kate so decided to slide into her direct messages on Twitter.
“They haven’t met up yet but there’s definitely a connection between them.
“Matt is hoping he can persuade Kate to go on a date some time in the near future. He certainly has a type given just how similar she looks to his ex Mel.”
Matt, who shot back into the public eye in December following the hit Bros rockumentary After The Screaming Stops, had a five-year relationship with model turned presenter Mel in the Nineties. He then had a string of short-lived romances, including one with former X Factor contestant Rebecca Ferguson.
The singer has now admitted he is ready to settle down for good and find The One.
He said: “I’d love to find that place and have a family and get married. That’s certainly something that will make everything complete for me.
“I really feel like I’m ready to share all that with someone special.”
Kate is also single following her divorce from TV producer Jon Connerty in 2013.
But unlike her on-screen character, who has been married four times, Kate seems less keen on the dating scene.
She has said: “The thought of going on a date makes me want to run for the hills and live in a tent for the rest of my life.”
Matt better get his camping pegs out then.

Miley stepped in for her spouse on the LA red carpet in the extravagant gown after he was taken to hospital over the weekend with kidney stones.
The pop star admitted she was looking forward to seeing Liam’s “funny side” in the film, in which he stars alongside Rebel Wilson, Priyanka Chopra and Adam Devine.
She said: “I’ve heard he’s just so funny in it, which I’ve always known. He’s the funniest person I’ve ever met, but not everyone else knows that so I think this is going to be an amazing step for him.”
PROF GREEN CANCELS TOUR AFTER 'NECK BREAK'
PROFESSOR GREEN fractured his neck yesterday in a fall during a seizure.
He shared this snap of himself lying on a stretcher in a neck and head brace being taken to hospital.
The accident meant he had to cancel his nine-date UK tour – which was due to start last night in Cardiff.
The rapper and documentary maker wrote: “I had seizure this morning which resulted in a fall while I was packing for [the] tour.
“Depending on how you look at this fall I was extremely lucky. I fractured vertebrae in my neck and subsequently had to cancel my tour that was due to start today. I’ll be back in the winter with a bigger tour.”
In telling fans about his injuries, he also thanked the NHS, who are “heroes amongst men and women”.

Charlie's throne out
GAME Of Thrones isn’t the only thing coming to an end for Emilia Clarke.
I can reveal the actress, who will reprise her role as Daenerys Targaryen in the final series of the fantasy drama this April, has dumped her director boyfriend Charlie McDowell.
A source close to the couple said: “Things ended recently and it’s been hard on Charlie.
“She has been shooting her new romcom Last Christmas for the past couple of months so that has been enough to keep her occupied through their separation.”
The couple started dating last year and Emilia confirmed their romance with posts on Instagram at the time.
Charlie, son of actors Malcolm McDowell and Mary Steenburgen, has now unfollowed her on the social network and deleted snaps of them together.
He also appeared to suggest she had been the one to end things. Asked by a fan, he replied in a since-deleted tweet: “This was not my decision.”
Emilia, named Sexiest Woman Alive by Esquire in 2015, dated filmmaker Seth MacFarlane in 2013 while Charlie was in a relationship with The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo actress Rooney Mara from 2010 to 2016.
I’m sure there will be plenty more eligible bachelors for Emilia when she’s ready to move on.

HE might be busy starring in Madagascar The Musical but Matt Terry is still penning pop songs in his spare time.
And I can reveal that the 2016 X Factor winner has been asked to send a few to Ariana Grande after her manager Scooter Braun was impressed with what he heard. Matt has duly sent some of his catchiest, most intimate tracks for Ariana to consider for her next record.
A music insider said: “Although Matt’s been really busy performing on stage, writing music is still his passion. Scooter heard some of his songs and asked him for some options for Ariana.
“Matt’s really chuffed with the interest, especially as he’s a such a huge fan of Ariana.
“If it goes well he hopes it could lead to his pop career relaunching.”

HE has created smash hits with Louis Tomlinson and WILL.I.AM and now electro-house star Steve Aoki says: “My dream collaborator would be Adele or Sam Smith.”
Steve starts the UK leg of his tour on Friday at Barrowlands in Glasgow but he may struggle to meet former One Direction star Louis, who he teamed up with on the single Just Hold On in 2016.
Steve says: “We haven’t been able to connect properly due to our crazy schedules.
“But when we do connect over text or phone it’s always nothing but love and support for each other.”

The four lads, who come from Devon, have been co-writing songs with Brit and Grammy nominated writers Neil Ormandy and Jayson DeZuzio, and are planning more gigs in the capital over the course of 2019.
