When was Sinead Tinker first pregnant with Daniel Osbourne's baby?
Back in February 2017, Sinead discovered she was pregnant, even though she’d only been with Daniel for a short while, after dumping boyfriend Chesney Brown to be with him.
The loved-up couple decided they wanted the baby and would make a go of their fledgling relationship.
But when Daniel’s dad Ken Barlow got wind of the pregnancy he intervened.
He convinced Sinead to have a termination as he was worried that Daniel would throw away his chance at doing a Masters at Oxford.
Why did Sinead Tinker have an abortion in Corrie?
In a storyline that shocked Coronation Street fans, Ken emotionally blackmailed Sinead into getting rid of the baby.
After being told by Daniel that he wouldn’t be taking his place at Oxford, Ken summoned Sinead to his house and pleaded with her to dump Daniel and let him focus on his academic career.
Sinead was hurt by his suggestion and dropped the bombshell that she was pregnant with Daniel's baby.
Ken then went on a rant at Sinead, telling her how he feels he wasted his life by settling down with Deirdre and that he could have made something of himself if he wasn’t tied down.
He angrily told her that her baby news was ‘nothing short of a disaster’ and that the pregnancy meant Daniel’s life would ‘be ruined before it gets started.’
He didn’t hold back going on to say that Daniel didn’t even love Sinead, that he just loved the idea of having a girlfriend however ‘ill-suited she might be.’
Ken finally put the boot in by telling Sinead that Daniel just saw her as the ‘factory girl who trapped him.’
Haunted by Ken’s words she booked into a clinic and had a termination, later telling Daniel that she’d had a miscarriage.
But Ken’s plan backfired when Daniel still didn’t want to go to Oxford, choosing to stay with Sinead instead.

How did Daniel find out the truth about Sinead's abortion?
After lying to him about having an abortion, Sinead began to feel unwell.
Daniel called for a doctor which forced Sinead to confess that she’d had a termination.
A devastated Daniel ended the relationship and attacked Ken, knocking him over the head with a poetry book which caused him to fall down the stairs and almost die.
