Diego Luna
Diego Luna plays convicted Mexican drug-lord, Félix Gallardo in the hit show Narcos : Mexico.
The second series follows his downfall as his drug empire crumbles around him.
Luna was born in Toluca in Mexico City on December 29, 1979, to mother Fiona Alexander - a British costume designer who died when he was two years old.
The 40 year old Mexican actor is best known for sci-fi films playing Julio in Elysium, Ray in Flatliners and Cassian Andor in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
Luna got his big break in 2001 starring in Y Tu Mamá También - a Mexican road trip movie.

Scoot McNairy
Scoot McNairy plays the determined American DEA Agent Walt Deslin.
He is revealed as the show narrator at the end of season one and viewers will get a deeper insight into his character through season two of the show Narcos: Mexico.
The American actor was born in Dallas, Texas in 1977.
His film credits have also included Batman VS Superman: Dawn of Justice, The Rover and two films, Killing Me Softly and 12 Years A Slave where he starred opposite the legendary actor Brad Pitt.

José María Yazpik
José María Yazpik plays the plays prominent drug-lord, Amado Carrillo Fuentes.
Based on the real-life cartel, he is nicknamed the Lord Of The Skies because of his passenger aircraft he used to transport cocaine.
49 year old Yaspik was born in Mexico before his family moved to La Jolla.
He has appeared in the TV series, The Brute With The Angel Of Death and The Dove
He was in a long-term relationship with Mexican actress, lliana Fox and they have a daughter together

Tenoch Huetra
Tenoch Huertra plays Rafael Caro Quintero in season two.
He is right hand man to Felix, helped co-found the Guadalajara Cartel and has a major hand in Mexican drug trafficking.
He is a Mexican actor born in 1981 in Mexico City.
His acting credits include Sin Nombre (2011) and Bel Canto (2018)

Teresa Ruiz
Newcomer, Teresa Ruiz stars at Felix's girlfriend Isabella Bautista in the second series of Narcos; Mexico.
She is one of the only female characters in the show and although fictional she is loosely based on real life female drug dealers including Sandra Avila Beltran.
The 31 year old Mexican actress was born in Oaxaca but grew up in Los Angeles.
She appeared in the films, Bordertown and The Delivery going on to win numerous awards for her acting skills.

Alejandro Edda plays Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman a Mexican drug lord and rising star of the Sinaloa Cartel.
His character steps up when Felix loses control of the entire system and lands himself behind bars,
His previous acting roles include numerous commercial campaigns such as Google and Toyota, the successful TV series, The Bridge and films including, American Made starring Tom Cruise.
Born in Puebla, Mexico in 1984, the 35 year old actor currently lives in Los Angeles.

Michael Pena plays the hard-nosed DEA Agent Kiki Camarena in Narcos: Mexico season two.
The 44-year-old American actor and musician rose to fame thanks to his roles in two Oscar winning films - Crash and Million Dollar Baby. Both movies won the Best Picture award.
In 2007 he starred alongside Mark Wahlberg as FBI agent Nick Memphis in Shooter. He also played a police officer in the 2012 movie End Of Watch alongside Jack Gyllenhaal.
Michael was born in Chicago, Illinois, on January 13, 1976. His parents Nicolasa and Eleuterio were originally farmers who emigrated to the US from Mexico.
He married poet, actress and writer Brie Shaffer in 2006 and the couple have a son named Roman who was born in 2008.
