JEFF Brazier revealed his son wants to follow in his footsteps and strip off for The Real Full Monty in a few years in tribute to his late mum Jade Goody.

The father-of-two, 38, took his kit off last night to raise awareness of cancer and has told how he was "emotionally floored" by a text sent by his son just minutes before he went onstage.

Speaking in an Instagram video, Jeff said: "My son put it into perspective for me, telling me he was really proud of me, that I was a ledge for doing it, and that I should tell Ashley [Banjo] that in a few years time, when he's old enough, he wants to do it to carry on his mum's legacy, which absolutely floored me emotionally.

"It turned the performance from performing a routine to something far greater bigger than I ever imagined it would be."

Jade Goody died from cancer in 2009, aged just 27, leaving behind sons Bobby, 14, and Freddie, 13.

Beside his Instagram video, Jeff explained how he felt about taking part in the high-profile striptease.

He wrote: "Tonight was emotional. A mixture of pride, nerves, exhilaration and realisation all felt in such a short space of time. Enough time though to convey an incredibly important and powerful message.

"Ultimately I don’t want any more children to grow up without a parent on account of potentially treatable illness. Everyone had such powerful stories of their own. A text from my son put everything in perspective for me just 10 minutes before we went on. #Grateful."

Alexander Armstrong, who started the show last year, appeared in the studio with Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield to chat about how rehearsals are going.

Phil couldn't resist asking if there was "willy envy" among the boys and Alexander didn't hold back.

He said: "Jeff Brazier wins that one hands down so we already hold our hands up to that one."

Phillip then quipped: "Nobody wants to stand next to Jeff Brazier" and Alexander agreed as he started laughing.

Holly then chimed in: "Apparently Jeff is looking very smug down the line from Sheffield right now....look at him."

Jeff then went bright red and walked away from the camera as Alexander continued: "You remember Horse from the original Full Monty? That's all I'm saying."

Holly and Phil burst out laughing as Jeff finally came up to the camera alongside Ashley Banjo and said: "This is far too much pressure guys, far too much."
