VOICE UK fans were blown away by “inspirational” Mark Ansari who sung perfectly on the show – despite battling a stammer.
The London born artist, who sung on the Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack, revealed he had struggled his whole life with a speech impediment and received a standing ovation after his performance of Craig David’s Walking Away.
Sir Tom Jones and Will.I.Am both tried to win over Mark after his song which saw him receive a standing ovation.
Mark, 28, went on to choose Black Eyed Peas star Will, with Jennifer Hudson calling him “inspirational”.
The coaches had no idea Mark suffered with a stammer as he sung word perfectly.
He explained to them: “I’ve been singing for 10 years or so. It’s a case where you use another part of your brain to sing and to talk. Talking in a rhythm helps too.”
Before his performance the VT showed Mark talking about living with a stammer.
He explained: “I am 28, ever since I could remember I’ve had a stammer.
“When I sing there is no stammer so that’s what I started to do. I sing when I talk.”
Fans were wowed by his story, with one tweeting: “Sat watching @thevoiceuk the lad with the stammer love it well done bro congrats. #brave #proud #stammerschool keep on with the fight I know you will win.”
A second commented: “Wow! @MarkAsari take a bow! Amazing voice!”

As well as performing on the Fifty Shades soundtrack, Mark has also supported Jessie J on tour.
