I’m a Celebrity’s Jamie Lomas is hoping for EastEnders return after stint in the jungle

I'M A Celebrity campmate Jamie Lomas is hoping his time in the jungle could make way for an EastEnders comeback.
The actor played troubled Jake Stone on the BBC soap for 18 months before leaving in 2015, and has revealed he'd like to return to Albert Square.
Speaking to the Daily Star Sunday he said: "I'd love to go back to EastEnders. I had an amazing time with the people there. I still have some fantastic friends there."
The hunky star, who also played Warren Fox in Hollyoaks, was involved in a string of shock storylines during his time in Albert Square, where viewers saw his character battling alcoholism.
He added: "I had such a fantastic character to play. When you're playing someone with a drinking problem, you have to do it justice for the people who are suffering.
"I studied alcoholism at length. And I'm forever grateful to EastEnders for giving me that opportunity."
Meanwhile, last night viewers saw Jamie and his fellow I'm a Celebrity campmate Iain Lee FINALLY bond.
The two men haven't been the closest of pals this series, with some viewers accusing the Jamie of ganging up on Iain with Amir Khan and Dennis Wise.
Jamie was happy to blame the 44-year-old for Strawberry-gate, and has said on a number of occasions that he thinks Iain is playing a game.
But after Amir's departure last night, Jamie and Iain had a heart to heart back in camp.
Iain said: "I’m so humbled that people have seen something in us that perhaps we’ve not seen.”
Jamie replied: “I thought you were playing a game but you know I don’t think you are now, I think you’re a genuine guy.”
Iain was delighted by the breakthrough, saying: “Thank you man, I appreciate you saying that”.
Jamie added: “But that’s what this is, it’s a game”, to which Iain agreed.
Talking about the chat in the Bush Telegraph, Iain said: "I thought that was very noble of him to say that.
"I certainly have not had a plan whereas I say I’m going to behave like this and to try and get reactions from them so they look bad.
"I’ve been as relaxed as much as one can be.”
Last night viewers also saw the four remaining celebrities take part in the infamous Celebrity Cyclone trial and win a selection of festive treats at the Dingo Dollar Challenge.
But by far and away the highlight will have been their surprise reunions with their loved ones in the jungle.
For the first time ever in the show's history, the celebrities' family members were allowed into camp for an emotional reunion.

Thinking they were taking part in a challenge, the celebrities were sent one by one to different parts of the Jungle.
Iain was reunited with his sister Jo, who he hadn't seen for over two years after she emigrated to New Zealand.
Meanwhile Toff and Jamie got to see their mums, while Jennie had an emotional moment with her husband Chris.
Jennie was then the latest celebrity to be evicted, leaving Toff, Iain Jamie left.
The show ends TONIGHT, with one of the three remaining celebrities being crowned King or Queen of the jungle.
