Wrapped in a blanket and wearing a nappy was a tiny baby marmoset, who later wriggled out and seemed to be sussing the adorable daughter out.
Speaking from behind the camera, Chris was heard laughing as he asked his little girl: “Is that your baby? He’s going to be bigger than you! Look, you have the same sized head!”
While Royalty was clearly delighted with her new pet, followers of the singer slammed him for the “irresponsible” and “cruel” new addiction to his family.
Taking to the comments section of the video, one fan wrote: “It is so cruel to have a monkey as a pet.... miserable”

While another reminded the R&B singer: “That monkey, Was torn away from ITS Mom, so you could have it...... Shame Chris, shame”
A third fan agreed, and told Chris: “This poor baby Monkey belongs with its family in a natural habitat. It is not a domesticated animal such as a dog or cat and in no way should be a pet or promoted as a pet.”

While others thought that the star’s wealth has given him the opportunity to spoil his little girl in the wrong way, with one adding: “In my opinion baby monkeys belong to their mothers and not into the hands of a little girl for her to pet them.
“Has it become too normal for her to “just” have a dog or a cat??”

And another begged him to reconsider keeping the tiny monkey, and wrote: “This is irresponsible. This animal was stolen from the wild to become a pet.
“Please take it to a sanctuary where it will receive proper care and can hopefully be returned to the wild!”
Chris isn’t the only star who has come under fire for wanting a marmoset monkey as a pet.

The animal, which featured prominently in the first few seasons of Friends as a pet for Ross Gellar, was also the adopted animal of choice for Justin Bieber back in 2013.
Originally given the pet as a gift for his birthday, Justin’s pet, named OG Mally, was eventually taken off him at the border of Munich, Germany, after he failed to hand the paperwork needed for the animal to be in the country.
