TOXIC REVENGE

Furious Jeremy McConnell determined Stephanie Davies WILL go to court over ‘hotel assault’ after she blamed her miscarriage on him

Jeremy McConnell has restarted his war with ex-girlfriend Stephanie Davis by telling pals he wants her to face justice for allegedly assaulting him - days after a judge found HIM guilty of battering her.

The former Hollyoaks actress was arrested on suspicion of GBH following a furious bust up between the pair at a North London hotel on July 2 before being released under police investigation.

Last week, Jeremy was found guilty of assaulting Steph in March this year but avoided prison when the judge handed him a sentence of 20 weeks in prison suspended for 12 months, 200 hours of community service and a restraining order.

Speaking about the court case, Steph admitted she felt like a nervous wreck.

She said: “Every time I hear a loud noise I panic. I have to take anti-depressants. I feel like I'm drowning.

“I feel helpless like the whole world is against me and I feel alone and this has affected how I live my life. I feel numb inside and just want this nightmare to be over.”

The 24-year-old blamed the stress of the trial for miscarrying their second child, writing on Instagram that Jeremy had “ruined my life and killed our child!”

It is this claim, Jeremy's friends say, is what is motivating him to go back to court with Steph regarding the alleged incident at The Royal Chace Hotel in Enfield.

A source said: “After the court case, Jeremy wanted to let everything lie with her because she is the mother of his child.

“He never wanted to see Steph ever again – the relationship is too toxic and painful.

“However, when she said he killed their baby, he was furious.

“He was so upset and is seeking advice from a solicitor regarding her claims he killed the baby, as it's untrue. He also wants her to face justice for what happened back in July in their hotel room.”

Jeremy sustained a fractured skull and a broken nose following the July bust up, while Steph suffered from five fractured ribs.

During the recent trial, a string of explosive claims came to light - including how Jeremy believed Steph was having a lesbian affair with one of her friends and a separate tryst with a fireman.

Steph had wept as she told the court what happened, and also revealed McConnell had believed she had been using a sex toy with other girls.

Alternating between crying and shouting as she gave her testimony, Steph claimed the father of her child had attacked her after a night out and put her in a headlock.

He then grabbed her by the throat and threw her about “like a rag doll” as she held their eight-month-old baby son Caben-Albi in her arms, Steph told the court.

Steph said: “I heard him go over the gate and I thought ‘this is like a horror film’. He was booting my glass doors with his foot, and I thought the glass was going to shatter. I thought, ‘this is it, he’s going to kill me’.”

Jeremy had insisted he was defending himself against Steph, who he said attacked him after learning he had taken cocaine.

In court, it was revealed he sought treatment for his drug use at Smearmore Castle Private Clinic and is now clean.

Jeremy's rep had no comment when contacted by The Sun Online.
