BEYONCE has suffered a blow as she struggles to sell out her UK Cowboy Carter tour, as blocks of seats remain unsold just hours before she goes onstage.

The American superstar kicked off her long-awaited tour in the States and is now on British soil - but could be disappointed by the turnout.

The tour kicks off in the UK at North London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium tonight.

Beyonce, who played five shows there in 2023, is doing six nights at the venue, which ends on June 16 — before a string of dates in Paris.

However, which just hours to go until she kicks of the UK leg of her tour, the Destiny's Child star is still struggling to sell hundreds of tickets.

Blocks of seats remain unsold at the stadium which holds around 62,000 people for concerts.

There are still over 500 tickets up for grabs, with the cheapest costing £71, (for obstructed view seats), while the most expensive are £278.

The Cowboy Carter tour sales are in stark contrast to her Renaissance world tour in 2023, where UK shows sold out within minutes of being released.

It's also been revealed that her country music themed tour also struggled to sell some tickets in the US.

In America, the price of some tickets were slashed in order to get fans to buy them.

This saw some concertgoers nab a seat for as cheap as $35 (around £26).

SPECTACULAR SHOW

Those fans who are going are in for a treat, if the US leg of her tour is anything to go by.

The two-hour, 45-minute concert is in support of her Grammy-winning 2024 album, Cowboy Carter.

Revellers will get to watch Queen Bey belt out her hits, which includes some classics, along with her latest songs.

Nineteen of the 36 songs performed are from her latest album, which includes hits like Texas Hold ’Em, Jolene and II Most Wanted.

Fans will also see Beyonce strut her stuff in a string of glamorous outfits, which previously included a white Mugler bodysuit and a figure-hugging red catsuit.

The show includes 24 dancers, who all help the superstar bring to life her songs on stage.

When Bey performed in the US, celebrities in the audience included Rita Ora and her Hollywood director husband Taika Waititi, singer Lizzo and telly host Oprah Winfrey.

The Crazy In Love singer is scheduled to play four more nights in Los Angeles before stints in Chicago and New Jersey, after her European leg of her tour is over.
