LOVE Island star Cashel Barnett has been thrown behind bars for "choking his ex" in front of his one-year-old child.
The 34-year-old, who appeared on season one of the dating show in 2019, was booked in Salt Lake City jail in Utah on Monday, according to TMZ.
He was charged with felony aggravated assault, domestic violence in the presence of a child and two counts of misdemeanour assault - after he "choked" the mum in from of the youngster on April 10.
The alleged assault was reported by his ex on April 24 prompting a felony warrant to be issued for his arrest.
But the realty star turned himself in on Monday.
He had previously been "on the run" the alleged attack reported by his ex-partner.
He is also accused of arguing with the mum of his child before she attempted to "calm him down", according to KUTV.
She claims he then "slapped her arms away", and when she walked off, he allegedly picked her up by the neck and threw her onto the bed.
The mum also claimed that the reality star continued to apply pressure on her neck, so much that she was "unable to breath or see clearly".
Barnett then allegedly slapped her in the face and told her "you're fine".

Barnett appeared on season one of Love Island USA, and has now been charged with felony domestic violence in Utah.
Following the alleged ordeal, the victim said she suffered from coughing, trouble swallowing, neck pain, nausea, vomiting, memory loss, and a headache.
Prosecutors said: "The report of strangulation is particularly concerning.
"Injuries related to strangulation can be serious, yet not necessarily apparent."
They added in the court documents: "Victims who have been non-fatally strangled are 7.5 times more likely to become a subsequent victim of homicide at the hands of the same abusive partner.
"The State believes that the victim will likely suffer further domestic abuse at the hands of the defendant should he remain out of custody."
They named these reasons when explaining why Barnett was being held without bail.
He will face a detention hearing on Thursday to determine a possible bail amount, if any.
Aside from featuring on Love Island, Barnett also appeared on The Challenge in 2022.
The star is also a model and musician, and often posts videos of himself making music or drumming on social media.
His latest post came on January 10, where he was seen promoting a gig with his band, Will Baxter Band.
On social media, a woman has supported her friend who was involved in the alleged incident, and wrote on X: “On April 10, my friend was the victim of a violent assault.
"She reported that Cashel Barnett, from Love Island USA, attacked her in front of her child. She couldn’t breathe and was left with serious injuries.
“He’s now facing felony domestic violence charges. There’s a no bail warrant for his arrest, but he still hasn’t been found."
