Katie Price shares rare snap of her five pets after being slammed by animal charity
A petition to ban Katie from having pets has almost 40,000 signatures
KATIE Price gushed over her pet cats and dogs even though she's been slammed for her sketchy history of pet ownership.
The former glamour model, who has had seven pets die in her care, shared a snap of her three Sphynx cats and two dogs.

The hairless cats and dogs were relaxing on a rug and Katie captioned the Instagram story, "my babies."
Katie also shared a photo of two of the cats snuggling together while snoozing.
Along with the pets she posted to Instagram, Katie also shares a new Cocker Spaniel puppy named Rookie with boyfriend JJ Slater.
They raised eyebrows when they got their new puppy, as calls have continued to mount for Katie to no longer be allowed to have pets.

A petition was created on change.org to stop Katie from owning animals amid concern for their welfare in her care. It has racked up almost 38,000 signatures.
Over the years, a number of tragic incidents involving Katie's pets have been revealed.
This includes her German Shepherd guard dog being killed after being hit by a vehicle on the A24, which was close to Katie's East Sussex home.
The tragedy happened just seven months after another of Katie's dogs, Sharon, was killed on the same road and one of her horses was also killed there, after it broke free from her field.

In 2020, her French Bulldog Rolo suffocated after being squashed underneath a chair.
Katie also had to give away an out-of-control Alsatian, Bear, for attacking other animals and was slammed for giving away another dog only a few months after getting it.

It lead to leading animal charity PETA has made it clear bosses think Katie has got “blood on her hands” and should be served with a lifetime ban on keeping animals.
Peta even previously offered Katie £5,000 to give up animals, and recently told The Sun the offer still stands.

2004-2009: The jungle romance resulted in Katie marrying Aussie pop star Peter. They had two kids, Junior and Princess, before their bitter split in 2009.

2020-2023: Car salesman Carl Woods took a shining to Katie in 2020. Their relationship was up and down for three years. They broke up for a final time last year.
2024-present: After weeks of rumours, Katie confirmed her relationship with Married At First Sight star JJ Slater in February this year.
Katie faced fresh fury recently from animal rights campaigners after taking part-ownership of a racing greyhound.
She has invested in the dog, called Barbie Bullet, and races in Hove, East Sussex, 25 minutes from Katie’s West Sussex home.
The two-year-old has won six of 41 races, coming third in her last one on March 1.
But a source said of the mum of five: “Katie adores animals and this is a way of her potentially making a little bit of money.
“It’s not a lucrative sport, though, so mostly she just wants to get a bit of fun and joy out of her investment.
“Racing dogs have good people around them who give them attentive care, and Barbie Bullet is no different.

In February, Katie told The Sun: “When people say I shouldn’t have animals, it’s circumstances that were out of my hands. I love animals.” She was approached for a comment on the greyhound.
