What is Their Finest about?
A British film crew attempts to lift spirits during World War II by making a propaganda film after the Blitzkrieg.
It’s 1940 and with the country’s morale at stake, Catrin (Gemma Arteton) an untried screenwriter, and a makeshift cast and crew, work under fire to make a film.
It’s hoped the movie will lift the nation’s flagging spirits and inspire America to join the war.
The film is based on the Lissa Evans novel Their Finest Hour and a Half and is a witty, romantic and moving portrayal of a young woman finding her way, and her voice, in the mayhem of war and the movies.
When can I watch Their Finest?
The film is already receiving rave reviews.
But you can see Their Finest in cinemas from 21 April 2017.

Who is Bill Nighy?
William Francis "Bill" Nighy was born 12 December 1949 and is an English actor.
He worked in theatre and television before his first cinema role in 1981, and made his name in television with The Men's Room in 1991, in which he played the womaniser Prof. Mark Carleton.
Bill became well known for his performance in Love Actually.
Other notable roles in cinema include his portrayal of Davy Jones in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, and its sequel, as well as Viktor in the Underworld film series.
He is also known for his roles in Harry Potter and The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel 1 and 2.
Who is Gemma Arterton?
Gemma Christina Arterton was born 2 February 1986 and is an English actress.
Gemma made her film debut in the comedy film St Trinian's (2007).
Her breakthrough role was in the James Bond film Quantum of Solace (2008), playing Bond Girl Strawberry Fields, which won her an Empire Award for Best Newcomer.
