Adele blasts mean Twitter trolls who said Grammys dress made her look like Fiona from Shrek

ADELE has hit back at critics who claimed she looked like Fiona from kids’ flick Shrek in her green Grammys dress.
Despite winning five gongs at last months bash, cruel trolls compared the Brit superstar to the fictional ogre due to the colour of her frock.
Now the singer, 28, has blasted her detractors and explained she worked out twice a day to fit into the designer gown.
She said: “Before the Grammys I had this dress right, I wore this green dress, everyone said I looked like Fiona from Shrek.”
“I don’t f***ing care. It was Givenchy Couture, they can say what they want.
“I worked out. Obviously I’m a large lady and I like eating food very much, but I was working out twice a day to fit into that Givenchy dress because it was quite tight.”
Cackling to her 65,000 fans during her gig in Perth, Australia, she added: “I was running a very long time to get fit for this but it never worked.”
Adele’s patterned green dress at last months Grammy Awards in Los Angeles sparked a stream of harsh comments on social media comparing her to Fiona from Shrek.

Men Jee added: “I’m not tryna be funny, I’m really not but is it just me or does Adele’s dress make her look like Fiona from Shrek?”
Adele had one of the biggest nights of her career at the Grammys, beating rival Beyoncé to win five awards including the coveted Album of the Year for 25.
The singer kicked off the Australian leg of her 2017 tour in Perth on Tuesday.
She banned pyrotechnics from the shows at the last minute after debris from a firework landed in her four-year-old son Angelo’s eye during rehearsals.
