Sir Tom on song

SIR TOM JONES is having a whale of a time now he’s back on The Voice.

The coach, who rejoined the panel after it was announced the show was moving from BBC to ITV next year, is supposed to be judging wannabe pop stars.

But the Welsh crooner couldn’t resist having a sing himself, treating the crowd during filming this week.

Between the auditions Sir Tom hopped up to belt out JERRY LEE LEWIS hit Great Balls Of Fire.

And fellow coach WILL.I.AM, who will appear on the main show and the new kids’ version, provided the backing dancing.

New coaches JENNIFER HUDSON and GAVIN ROSSDALE clapped along.

It was no doubt a welcome break from all of the tense chair spinning.

The show’s new twist means that any singers who don’t get any “turns” from the coaches leave the stage with zero interaction with the famous mentors.

An impromptu singalong with Sir Tom is just the thing to lighten the mood.

Strictly Jo's act of love

STRICTLY dancers often find love on the dancefloor – look at KEVIN and KAREN CLIFTON, and ALJAZ SKORJANEC and JANETTE MANRARA.

But JOANNE CLIFTON, Kevin’s little sister, has bucked the trend and got herself a date at the theatre.

She and Joseph Edward-Bader, the actor grandson of the late RONNIE CORBETT, fell for each other while starring in Norma Jeane The Musical, a dark take on MARILYN MONROE’s final days, at the Lost Theatre in South West London.

A source revealed: “Joanne is absolutely smitten with Joseph and the pair have been inseparable ever since they started dating in June.

“They met while they were both starring in Norma Jeane. Joanne was playing Marilyn and Joseph was playing Marilyn’s uncle.

“Joseph is really supportive of Joanne and is constantly coming to cheer her and [BBC Sport presenter] ORE ODUBA on at the Strictly live shows.”

Joanne, who is the favourite to win the Strictly crown with Ore, has wasted no time introducing the main men in her life to each other.

The source added: “They have been on some double dates with Ore and his wife and Joanne takes him to all the Strictly premieres and red carpets.

“They call themselves The Two Jos after The Two Ronnies and see their relationship as a long-term thing.”

There goes the Strictly curse.
