WITH speculation growing over who might take over from Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry, Jamie Oliver is one to weigh up.
Already an avid fan who 'loves' the show, the 41-year-old chef has emerged as one of the leading names to replace the prolific duo if they’re to quit ahead of the new version of Bake Off.
After it was sensationally revealed that Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins would not be jumping ship – or kitchens - from BBC1 to Channel 4, the current judges’ positions are in question.

Jamie has previously said that TGBBO was really great watching and admitted he would love to be more hands on with it.
“We watch Bake Off. The whole family loves it,” he previously told Now magazine.
“Secretly, there’s always a part of me in mourning because I’d love to be one of the judges.
“I love Mary Berry and it’s really great watching.”
In 2013, Oliver was offered a judge’s role in the US version of the show but he hadn’t been able to and it had been a ‘big regret’ for him.
Presenters Mel and Sue walked away without even discussing a new contract after Channel 4 cleaned up with a massive £75million three-year deal.
