Inside Peter Andre’s wife Emily’s relationship with his ex Katie Price’s kids as she reveals what it’s like as step-mum
PETER Andre's wife Emily has revealed what it's like to be step-mum to Katie Price's kids.
Her comments come after Katie launched a scathing attack on her in a furious Instagram post.
Pete and Emily tied the knot in July 2015 and share children Theo and Amelia.
This means she is step mum to Peter and Katie's children - son Junior, 16, and 14-year-old daughter Princess.
Speaking to this week's Emily said: “I think with both of them, there’s always things you feel awkward to speak to your parents about.
"It could be anything. We have a slightly different relationship, maybe that’s why they will ask me questions about certain things.
“Also, with the job I do, I’ve always said to them that nothing is embarrassing to me.
"I think that’s always meant that they haven’t felt embarrassed to say stuff to me if they have to.

“They’re both really communicative teenagers.”
Emily went on to talk about the harmonious house the family lives in.
She said: “We never have family arguments. I’ve never had an argument with Junior and Princess. Pete and I rarely argue.
“I don’t think Junior’s ever been in a mood with me and I’ve been his stepmum for nearly 10 years!”
Emily's interview comes just a day after Katie went on the attack

The 43-year-old shared a snap of the cover of a magazine which Emily gave an interview to and made a series of shocking claims against the doctor.
In the now-deleted post she wrote: "My mouth has been shut for so long but I've had enough of people selling stories on me and particularly this so called woman @dr_emily_official.
"Always said I don't want to be famous yet doesn't do too bad to stay away from media and TV and now trying to make a career out of it.
"So cringe she has used my children to make money in photo shoots yet covers her own children's faces up!"
Former glamour model Katie went on to make a series of accusations against Emily, writing: "She claims to be a doctor who clearly doesn't have a clue about mental health.
"Oh and stopped my daughter from visiting me at The Priory when she wanted to see her mum. She is so jealous of my relationship I have with Princess and puts me down.
"Emily you are not and never will be my kids' parent so mind your own business, your so two faced and definitely not the person you portray to the public."

Mum-of-five Katie signed off her outburst with: "I think you're a disgusting person so stop trying to interfere in my life."
The Sun reached out to reps for Emily for a comment.
