Loose Women’s Coleen Nolan hits back at fans claims she bullied Katie Price
Viewers accused Coleen of being harsh to Katie on Tuesday's show
LOOSE Women's Coleen Nolan has hit back at fans who claimed she bullied Katie Price on Tuesday's show and said that real bullying is what's happening to her co-panellist Saira Khan on Celebrity Big Brother.
Viewers accused Coleen of bullying the former glamour model when she showed off her new breast implants on the ITV show.
However, Coleen slammed these claims and said they left her "very upset".
Speaking on today's show, she said: "I'm so upset today and I'm really annoyed because it's so not true.
"Stop using the bullying word so frivolously, I hate bullies and the last person in the world I'd bully is Katie Price.
"I really enjoyed the show yesterday, we did nothing but laugh.
She continued: "I think it's hard to be on the other end of it and I think at one point she was just really quiet so maybe that's why people thought she was being bullied.
"I think what people don't like to believe is that we do actually get on.
"I am a sarcastic old thing but the whole thing about the show is that we don't always agree.
She went on to say that real bullying is what's happening to her co-panellist Saira Khan in the Celebrity Big Brother house.
Saira has fallen out with the other housemates which has left her in tears.
Coleen said: "Anyone who thinks that's bullying has never been bullied.
"If you look at what's going on with Saira in Celebrity Big Brother, that's bullying and pure pack mentality."
Yesterday, viewers on Twitter observed that Coleen, 51, was being particularly harsh towards 39-year-old Katie.
@samapop wrote: “The @loosewomen are really bullying @MissKatiePrice today, shame on you colleen, I thought more of you [sic]”
While @HarryHouseman called it “awkward viewing”, tweeting: “Coleen is not happy with @MissKatiePrice today this is awkward viewing”
And some thought that Coleen was doing a good job not to be more angry with Katie, who some viewers thought kept making the show about herself.
@lisaknight73 wrote: “Colleen visibly biting her tongue over Ms Price’s ego #LooseWomen [sic]and @StVitusDance said: “#loosewomen How bloody annoying is Katie Price? Don’t know how the others tolerate her ….”
