Simon Cowell brands 1D ‘s Niall, Harry and Louis ‘incredibly loyal’… but doesn’t mention Liam
The music mogul also discussed sitting beside Louis on the AGT panel
SIMON Cowell has opened up about his continued relationship with the One Direction boys… but seemed to forget Liam Payne.
Speaking during an American’s Got Talent conference call alongside co-host Mel B, the music mogul gushed about “amazing” Niall Horan, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson.
When quizzed about Liam’s upcoming solo material – the dad-of–one swerved the question and instead discussed the other lads.
He said: “We’re in touch with them all. The great thing about all these boys – well not all of them but most of them – they are incredibly loyal and you don’t always expect that.
“Niall, Harry Louis – amazing."
Simon, who found One Direction on the X Factor, also opened up about what is like to have Louis as a guest judge on the show.
“Louis was great. It was so funny and so odd that he had auditioned for me five years ago and now he’s siting where I am sitting judging other people and doing it really well,” he said.
“I was really happy for him and he loved doing it.”
Meanwhile Mel – better known as Scary Spice – revealed she was loving working with Simon.
She said: “He’s a very lovable guy. I love working for Simon. People are warming to him.”
Before he could saying anything, she told him: “Don’t get a big head!”
The year’s season of America’s Got Talent is the most watched for five years and as the live shows start this evening millions look set to tune in.
