Liam Payne’s solo career to be managed by team behind David Beckham
The 1D hearthrob is going it alone... and looks set to replicate the footy star's success

LIAM PAYNE shocked fans by launching his new solo music career last week.
But what’s more surprising is he didn’t pen the deal wearing a sarong and covered in even more tattoos.
That’s because I can reveal Liam’s solo fortunes are going to be managed by the team behind Brand Beckham.
Former England skipper DAVID’s confidant Simon Oliveira will attempt to replicate his success with his leading client, which will no doubt be reflected in Liam’s bank account.
Therefore as well as shiny new music through his new record label Capitol, I wouldn’t rule out seeing the ONE DIRECTION star taking on some very lucrative endorsement deals over the next couple of years.

A source said: “Liam has made a bold move going solo so why not go for management of the highest calibre.
“He also already has a huge profile so the scope to increase his brand further is obvious.
“Being one half of one of the most recognisable couples in Britain obvious helps.”
I can also reveal CHERYL was his inspiration to go it alone.
Liam’s always harboured hopes of moving into the background during 1D’s hiatus, writing with various musicians, but not as the main focus.
But the former GIRLS ALOUD singer has given him the confidence to become a solo star in his own right, similar to how she did after the girlband went on their own break.
My source added: “Liam probably enjoyed the limelight the least after ZAYN MALIK in One Direction.
“He enjoyed the recording and creative process, so that was the way he was heading.
“But being with Cheryl has given him the drive to break through himself.
“He knows she will be his unofficial mentor too.”
Now Liam’s signed with Doyen Global, the likelihood of the couple becoming a brand like Posh and Becks is becoming even more of a reality.
Managing director Simon, who founded the company with Matthew Kay, is also Becks’ PR, adviser and close pal.
Liam will be his firm’s first foray into music, as it specialises in sport and film.
But thankfully he’s unlikely to get Liam and Cheryl to wear matching leather outfits like Posh and Becks did in his Manchester United heyday.
