FORMER weather girl Sian Lloyd has broken down over her recent divorce, revealing she still has no idea why it happened.
Speaking about her recent split for the first time, the TV star, 44, admitted she still struggles to comprehend why her husband Jonathan Ashman left her after eight years.
She said: “I have just come through a divorce which was the most traumatic time.
“I was married for eight years. It was the best eight years of my life. We had the most amazing marriage and one day he just left.
“I’ve only been divorced for a few months so it’s very, very raw.
“When someone has just left you and hadn’t even argued, you’re great together and everybody else thinks you’re the happiest couple on earth, then you question everything in life.”

Sian was speaking on an upcoming episode of Celebrity First Dates, due to be aired on Channel 4 this Friday.
The newly single star, who presented the weather on ITV for 24 years, was on a date with a member of the public called Max when she made candid confession.
Motor racing entrepreneur Jonathan shocked Sian by ending their marriage abruptly last year.
When she is asked by producers on Friday’s episode whether he explained why he left, she shakes her head and replies: “No”.
In 2013 Sian was left devastated after being uninvited to her stepdaughter Suzanne Ashman’s wedding to Euan Blair, the son of ex-Prime Minister Tony.
She blamed the snub on her militant stance against the Iraq War led by Blair.
Sian was previously engaged to former Lib Dem MP Lembit Opik.
