Kate Beckinsale opens up about David Walliams romance rumours
The actress has poured cold water on the claims she's more than just friends with the comedian
KATE Beckinsale has opened up about a potential romance with David Walliams following their intimate date on Friday in London’s Mayfair.
After being pictured looking closer than ever, the 42-year-old actress has taken to Twitter to pour cold water on the claims things have been heating up between the pair.
Discussing their close bond following the Sun Online's pictures on Saturday, Kate wrote: ‘This is my dear friend, @davidwalliams. If I ever see him naked I will immediately tattoo a [aubergine emohi] on my face for clarity."
Following up her comment, she added: "Until that appears, everyone can relax and know we are friends, as we have been for the last 2000 years. Ps The size of the tattoo is unlikely to be actual size. As far as I know.”

Despite dismissing any potential romance, David has previously referred to the star as his “ideal woman.”
During an interview in 2009 he admitted: “There’s a couple of girls I know and they are amazing, so much fun, and they’re so amusing and naughty and beautiful.
"One’s Kate Beckinsale, that I’ve known for a really long time, since before she was well known, and Natalie Imbruglia as well. When I’m with them I turn to jelly because they’re so exciting to be with, but neither of them would ever go out with me, so I can’t.”
Following David’s divorce from wife Lara Stone last year and Kate’s “split” from husband Len Wiseman in November after 11 years together - the pair are now both single.
