‘She shouldn’t have gone on Love Island’: Charlotte Crosby says Zara Holland deserved to lose her Miss Great Britain crown
The former Geordie Shore star said she should have been loyal to her title

CHARLOTTE Crosby has hit out at Love Island reject Zara Holland and said it was only fair she was stripped of her Miss Great Britain title for going on the show.
Zara, 20, was awarded the crown last year but had it taken away from her by furious organisers after she romped on Love Island with Vicky Pattison’s ex Alex Bowen.
And Charlotte, 26, said while she feels sorry for her love rival, she said it was only right that she lost her crown.
Speaking to the Mail Online, she said: “I don't think it's bad but she was Miss GB and they have a certain procedure they have to take and you have to be a certain person and that's why it was bad.
"I do think they should have done it. If she'd gone in there a normal girl she'd have nothing to lose but she went in there with a title. You do have to behave in a certain way.”
Charlotte said she felt sorry for the model but added that Zara should have reconsidered taking part in Love Island.
She said: “I think it's a shame, she's a lovely girl and I'd feel very sorry for her. I can tell being Miss GB meant a lot to her but I do feel being a beauty queen you have to be a certain person.
"You have to be the perfect girl and it’s all about world peace and you have to be the best you can possibly be. So I do think with that in mind... Zara shouldn't have gone on a reality TV show, I think it was a bad decision in the first place to even go on.”
But could Charlotte be voicing her opinion about Zara because of their love rivalry?
The former Geordie Shore star had a brief fling with cricketer Max Morley but he ended it last December after she kissed her ex-boyfriend Gaz Beadle.

Max, who won Love Island last year, then went on a few dates with Zara but according to her he then “went quiet” after branding her “boring in bed” and lashed out while she was still in Love Island’s luxury villa.
Speaking to The Sun, Zara tells us: “Me and Max were never official, but we did go on quite a few dates in December. I met his mum and dad and they were lovely – but it just didn’t work.”
“He was horrible, God knows what happened or why he’s blocked me on Twitter. I’ve got no reason to speak to him now. He was the dream I did still really fancy the pants off him.”
