Sam Reece set to become the jungle hunk in I’m A Celebrity one year after ex Stephanie Davis was forced to quit

SAM Reece is set to star in this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here as the "ultimate revenge" on ex-girlfriend Stephanie Davis.
The 23-year-old actress was forced to drop out of series 15 in November due to a nut allergy, and now her model ex is set to sign up and dish all the dirt on their romance.
A close friend of Sam’s tells us: “Sam has all but signed on the dotted line! This is the gig he’s been holding out for. Since Steph binned him during Big Brother he’s had lots of offers and has been biting his tongue – now it’s his turn to share his side of the story and let the public see the real him.
Our source adds: "He knows this is the ultimate revenge to Steph as she’s always dreamt of going into the jungle. Producers have been in constant contact and see him as this year's jungle hunk... he's going to be a huge hit with viewers."
Sam first sparked rumours he’d appear on the show in January.
While responding to a fan who enquired if he’d ever take part in the ITV favourite, he responded: “I would love to do this! Fav show!”

In November, while Steph and Sam were still together, she posted: “Yes it’s true, I was signed up for I’m a Celebrity, but unfortunately due to a severe nut allergy it would be unsafe for me to take part in the jungle. I’m absolutely gutted as it would have been a brilliant experience and sure I would have had you all laughing your socks off.
“Don’t worry though, there are amazing stuff coming up for me so keep your eyes peeled! Good luck to my fellow camp mates this year!! I’ll be watching guys! Big love, Stephanie xx.[sic]”
Sam and Steph enjoyed a year long relationship until she entered the Celebrity Big Brother house and met Jeremy McConnell.
Sam recently told the Daily Star he’s had “no contact” with Steph since she entered the infamous house.
When asked if they could confirm our story, a rep for Sam told us: “Sam is in discussions for various TV projects at present but we are unable to comment on anything further at this stage.”
