It’s ladies day Essex style! Jess Wright, Megan McKenna and Pete Wicks get fancy at Ascot

THE Towie stars descended on Royal Ascot today as they turned Ladies Day into an Essex day out.
Jess Wright and Megan McKenna scrubbed up for the notoriously posh event and Pete Wicks ditched his usual vest top and hoodie, and suited up for the occasion.
Jess, 30, posted a pic on her Instagram looking pretty in a lace dark blue dress and stylish hat.
While co-star Megan, 23, who was snapped with her boyfriend Pete, 23, went for an off the shoulder grey pencil dress with matching hat and peach clutch bag.
Her beau looked dapper in a black top hat and dark grey fitted suit
The loved up pair were clearly getting into the spirit of things and posted on Instagram a pic of themselves guzzling down cheap cocktails in a can.
They aptly captioned the picture: “Classy as always... #RoyalAscot”
The day shaped out well for the Essex pair as they picked a winner!
They were snapped celebrating after their horse came in first.
The Essex stars weren’t the only celebrities to descend on the famous showground.
Also spotted was DIY SOS star Nick Knowles and estranged wife Jessica Moor.
This is the first time they have been snapped together since they announced their separation in January.
At the time they released this statement: “It is with sadness that we announce we are separating.
“Our focus continues to be the happiness of our son Eddie.'
Being seen at the races today has sparked speculation they may be back together.
Keeping things posh at the big event was Made In Chelsea star Ashley James.
She wore a red patterned pencil skirt and matching top, which a bronze/gold fascinator.

Dec’s wife Ali Astall turned heads in a bright pink ankle length dress and a black headpiece which was worn over her braided hair.
Not far behind the Geordie duo were a host of celebrities looking to try their luck on the horses.
One Direction’s Niall Horan cut a handsome figure in a grey check suit coupled with a spotted burgundy tie.
Olympic cyclist turned jockey Victoria Pendleton took a break from riding the horses to mingle with guests at the annual event in Berkshire.
The 35-year-old showcased her slim figure in a navy shift dress and matching hat.
Former I’m A Celeb star Amy Willerton was also snapped arriving on the green carpet with boyfriend Daniel Day.
The pair posed for photos as Amy showed off her best angles in a sleeveless dress – unfortunately a tad similar to the blue outfit worn by athlete Victoria.
The previous day saw actress Liz Hurley attend, striding through the crowd in a tight-fitting white dress, with a sneaky split at the thigh.
