BIG Brother viewers broke down in tears tonight as Davina McCall and Rylan Clark-Neal paid tribute to Jade Goody.
The duo signed off the Best Of episode from series three with a special mention of Jade who died from cancer in 2009, aged just 27.
Rylan said: "In BB3 she was the perfect housemate. If we had a factory where we were able to build housemates I think Jade would be one of the first off the production line."
Davina called her "beautifully flawed" and an "extraordinary person".
She said: "All of us could relate to her in some form or another.
"We felt for her. We cried with her. We laughed at her, then we started laughing with her. Then we loved her with all of our hearts."
Their words moved viewers with one writing: "That speech about Jade had me in tears. May she rest in peace."
Others found watching Jade in the house emotional as a fan typed: "Jade Goody Red heart FOREVER. So many tears. That's all that needs to be said really."
Another said: "Feels bittersweet watching Jade Goody again #bbuk."
Jade was catapulted into the spotlight after appearing on the third series of Big Brother in 2002.
She endeared herself to the viewers with her lack of general knowledge, stripping naked and drunken antics.
After coming out of the house, she appeared in her own reality TV show and created her own perfume called Shh.
In 2017 Jade went back into the house for Celebrity Big Brother and took her mum and then-boyfriend Jack Tweed with her.
But she became embroiled in a racism scandal over her treatment of fellow housemate, Bollywood star, Shilpa Shetty.
After being evicted from the house, Jade later visited India where she apologised for her behaviour.
Jade also starred in pantomimes and in 2008 appeared on Bigg Boss, the Indian version of Big Brother.
Away from the cameras, Jade started a relationship with fellow reality TV star Jeff Brazier.
After they split she started a stormy relationship with Jack Tweed but the pair eventually tied the knot in February 2009.
Jade died just a month later at the age of 27.
Jade had a number of health scares after leaving Big Brother but it was when she entered Bigg Boss that she was given a diagnosis of cervical cancer in August 2008.
It was reportedly at an advanced stage and she had to undergo surgery and chemotherapy treatment.
But by February 2009, it had spread to her liver, bowel and groin and she was told by doctors at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London that her condition was terminal.
While in hospital Jade was baptised alongside her sons and she also married Jack.
Her mum Jackiey Budden revealed that Jade wanted to end her life in Switzerland during her painful final weeks.
Jackiey said: "She wanted to go to Switzerland to have the injection. She kept telling me and Jack all the time.”
