Matthew Perry dons a mask as he heads out with mystery woman during LA lockdown

FRIENDS star Matthew Perry donned a mask as he headed out with a mystery female companion amid the lockdown in Los Angeles.

The famous for playing Chandler Bing in the 90s sitcom, opted for an all-black look, wearing a t-shirt and loose-fitting sweatpants with dark Converse sneakers in the scorching temperatures.

Matthew and his friend made sure they were protected during the ongoing , covering up in bright blue surgical face masks, but decided to go without gloves.

His companion also decided to wear an all-black outfit, choosing a long-sleeved sweatshirt with Disney characters Bambi and Thumper on the front, along with black jeans and gray sneakers.

The latest outing comes days after he was seen over the weekend in.

The Sun understands the actor is still dating 29-year-old talent manager Molly Hurwitz, his, but the pair are isolating separately.

Matthew is surrounding himself with sober pals and close team members during the lockdown after years of battling .

He has been vocal about his struggles and two trips to rehab in 1997 and 2001 during the height of his fame, later revealing he didn't remember filming multiple seasons of Friends.

When asked by actor James Nesbitt to name his least favorite episode during an interview on Radio 2, he admitted: "I think the answer is, I don't remember three years of it. So none of those … Somewhere between Season 3 and 6 … I was a little out of it."

During his lockdown stroll, the actor wore his gray hair spiked up with a pair of pricey Bose headphones placed around his neck to keep him entertained.

Matthew's long fingernails are visible in the exclusive photographs, after LA salons were forced to stay shut.

The star joked he needed to start getting pampered last year, tweeting: "I'm getting a manicure this morning. That's okay right? I mean it says man right in the word."

While in isolation, Matthew and his inner circle have been busy, watching movies and building a LEGO replica of the Friends set at the coffee shop Central Perk in New York.

Having remained largely out of the spotlight in recent years, the much-loved star in February, after which the Friends cast announced they were set to reunite for an one-off special to mark the launch of the HBO Max streaming service.

But the reboot has now been and is unlikely to be filmed before next year, according to The Sun's sources.

The former 90s heartthrob gave a nod to his popular character on Friends by joking on social media: "?" which is a play on Chandler's iconic catchphrase.

Matthew has also kept his followers up to date in recent weeks and joined his former co-stars and fellow celebrities by taking part in the viral.

The actor revealed the six are giving one fan and five of their lucky friends the chance to enjoy coffee with them at Central Perk on the iconic Stage 24 set on the Warner Bros. lot in Burbank, as well as watching the live taping of the reboot.
