Paris Hilton says ending her engagement to Chris Zylka was the ‘best decision’ she’s ever made

PARIS Hilton appeared to throw some shade at her ex-fiance Chris Zylka as she revealed their broken engagement was the "best decision" she's ever made.
The and the actor called time on their romance in November 2018 and the socialite has no regrets about it.
Speaking to about her failed romance, she explained: "It was the best decision I’ve ever made in my life.
"I just don’t think [he] was the right person and I feel like I’m an incredible woman and I deserve someone so amazing. It just didn’t feel right."
She continued: "I’ve worked way too hard to just give my life to someone. They have to be perfect."
dated for a year before announcing their engagement in January 2018, but went their separate ways just 10 months later.
And the socialite-turned-DJ seems happier than ever with her decision as she recently .
Paris was dropping it like it's hot at the "Sliving" themed Los Angeles party where where she was joined by the likes of Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, model Heidi Klum, singer Rita Ora and rappers French Montana and Machine Gun Kelly.
The iconic socialite ensured the night was typically striking as her "slaying and living" party decor at "Slivington Manor" featured lots of giant balloons and a custom technicolor BMW guest could pose with.
And a video from the night revealed how the DJ got down on the dance floor as she danced along to Britney Spears' Baby One More Time and 50 Cent's In Da Club.
While her BFFs Kim and Kourtney were in attendance, it was the appearance of Paris' new man that really got people talking.
Her big bash comes weeks after she had set tongues-wagging
The socialite was seen holding hands and making out with the tech startup entrepreneur, 38, at the InStyle and Warner Bros. Golden Globes after-party in January.
According to , the new couple were seen kissing and "smiling at each other as she placed her hand on the back of his head and touching and rubbing his neck."
They added that Reum was "holding Paris' hand and clearing a path for her" as they left the star-studded soiree together later that night.
An insider said of the duo: "Paris was with Carter Reum last night. He is a tech startup entrepreneur and investor and is the Gwyneth Paltrow's circle of friends.
"He is known in Hollywood. They have been seeing each other for a little over a month."
The publication said added that the pair "met through friends" and that "they are very happy together… everyone is saying what a great couple they make."
Things seem to be going so well for Paris and Carter that they reportedly spent New Year's Eve together with his family, who "adore" her.

Although Carter is unlike Paris' more high-profile former flames, such as Backstreet Boy Nick Carter and Good Charlotte's Benji Madden – he is highly successful in the tech world.
