JLS’ JB confirms talks for a 10 year reunion this year ‘to show solidarity after Oritse cleared of rape’

BOYBAND JLS have confirmed they’re in talks to reform the band seven years after splitting up.
The reunion comes after singer Oritse Williams was cleared of rape allegations.
Speaking at the Paddington premiere this weekend, JB Gill told The Sun Online: “This year is a big year for us: our 10 year anniversary [since JLS's debut album].
“We are all very much in touch, we’re still brothers. We met up recently, a few weeks back, and we’ve always said when the time’s right we could do something. So a reunion... never say never.”
The band, who shot to fame on The X Factor in 2008, is made up of Oritse, JB, Aston Merrygold and Marvin Humes.
Speaking about Oritse, JB said: "He is doing well. All things considered. He is trying to put the past behind him and moving forward.

“We are family and always support him. We are there for him always."
The band’s reunion was first reported in November last year by The Sun – but this is the first time a member of the band has spoken about it.
Oritse was cleared of all charges last year after being charged and arrested for rape in 2016.
After a three year ordeal for the singer, he was finally declared not guilty by the jury in May last year – with the jury unanimously clearing him of all charges.
He later thanked fans for their support on Instagram.
