THE Narcos: Mexico cast looked a world away from their Netflix alter-egos at the glamorous season 2 premiere.
The series explores the origin of the modern war on drugs and dramatises the rise of the Guadalajara Cartel in the 1980s.
Diego Luna plays Félix Gallardo, who unified the loose and disorganised traffickers to build an empire.
Meanwhile Michael Pena played DEA agent Kiki Camarena, who moved from California to Guadalajara with his wife and young son to take up a new post, and, a huge challenge.
Diego, 40, looked smart in jeans and a brown suede jacket, while co-star Fernanda Urrejola - who plays Maria Elvira wowed in a low cut black lacy top and black wide legged trousers.
Teresa Ruiz - who plays Isabella Bautista - also opted for black, and looked stunning in a one-shouldered satin dress.
The first series ended on a bombshell as Félix and Kiki's cat and mouse game ended in Kiki being abducted, tortured and murdered.
The finale also revealed the identity of the show's narrator, agent Walt Breslin, played by Scoot McNairy.
He is in charge of Operation Layenda, a task force working to bring those responsible for Kiki's death to justice, and this will be the focus of season two.
In a voiceover, Walt says: "What happened in Guadalajara in the early ’80s was the beginning.
