Golden Globes 2020: Brad Pitt calls Jennifer Aniston his ‘good friend’ as she beams proudly at his award

JENNIFER Aniston beamed with pride when ex hubby Brad Pitt picked up his Golden Globe gong - and fans just couldn't get enough of her reaction.
Earlier on the Red Carpet, Brad was quizzed about reuniting with Jennifer, to which he replied: "I’ll run into Jen, she’s a good friend."
Jennifer Aniston couldn't hold back her happy emotion for ex Brad Pitt at the 2020 Golden Globes
The feeling appeared to be very much mutual, with Jennifer caught clasping her hands together in delight when Brad won a gong for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in Any Motion Picture.
The Friends actress, 50, was spotted in the crowd seated on a table right opposite the Once Upon A Time In Hollywood actor, with whom she was married for five years.
The camera panned to her overjoyed face, which showed her first pursing her lips with glee then bursting out into a huge smile, tilting her head back in happiness.
The pair split in 2005 yet time seems to have proved a healer for the Hollywood mega-stars, who both glammed up for the 2020 ceremony at the Beverly Hills hotel.
Golden Globes viewers were quick to comment on Twitter, with one gushing: "My favourite part of Brad Pitt’s #goldenglobes acceptance speech is watching Jennifer Aniston’s face during it."
A second put: "Jennifer Aniston clapping for Brad Pitt omg."
Another continued: "Why do we STILL want them to get back together?" before one added: "I don't know but still want to."
One film fan posted: "How come Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston still look hot at their age they should get back together as the hottest Hollywood couple."
Another added: "The fact that Jennifer Aniston is seated behind Leo DiCaprio while Brad Pitt talks to him during his acceptance speech is *DIRECTION*"
A fan then referred to Brad's apparent infidelity and put: "Jennifer Aniston giving an approving smirk while Reese Witherspoon looking disgusted at Brad Pitt’s #GoldenGlobes speech perfectly encapsulates every friendship after a guy has cheated.
"Always going for that second chance while the bff disapproves!!"
Jennifer cited irreconcilable differences on the pair's divorce papers in 2005, two months after the couple announced they were separating.
It was after Brad starred in Mr and Mrs Smith with co-star Angelina Jolie, the so-called perfect marriage crumbled.
Yet they appear able to joke about their love life now, with Brad even making reference to it in his acceptance speech.
