Paul Hollywood reveals he feared for his life during confrontation with angry 6ft 6in Bake Off viewer

PAUL Hollywood has revealed a judging decision on The Great British Bake Off once got him in trouble with a 6ft 6in viewer - who confronted him in a terrifying showdown.
The 53-year-old cake veteran admitted: “I was looking at him and I thought: ‘I’m dead.'"
However, Paul managed to calm the situation by insisting: “All I do is judge fairy cakes.”
Speaking on The Jonathan Ross Show, he added that things ended well, with the man winding up buying him a pint.
Viewers tomorrow night will see Paul show off his skills with a pair of deadly nunchucks.
He is a long-time devotee of the ancient Japanese weapon, which consists of two sticks linked by a chain.
The impromptu display came about when host Jonathan challenged Paul to show off his talents.
Clad - aptly enough - in a ninja-style all black outfit, the veteran baker warily examined the lethal nunchucks.
He then rose to his feet and began snapping them around, to the amazement of assembled guests including stand-up star John Bishop.
Paul has admitted being "pretty deft" with the martial arts weapon when he was younger and took up nunchuck flinging again in later life.
Asked in 2017 to reveal a secret about himself, the cake guru explained: "I can use nunchucks pretty deftly.
"I was really good at them when I was younger. I picked them up again recently and I hit my elbow a couple of times and bruised it."
The star once said his biggest disappointment in life was that he gave up on martial arts and revealed he had taken kung fu lessons as a teenager.
He said: "I started at 13 because my uncle ran a martial arts club. I was fascinated by Bruce Lee. I got pretty useful on the nunchucks."
Nunchucks are categorised as an offensive weapon in the UK and are therefore not permitted to be carried in public.
However, they can be used in a private setting and, it seems, on primetime television.
The chain allows the sticks to move faster than they would if the attacker was simply using their arm, making them a fast and hard-to-counter weapon.
Other guests on Saturday's The Jonathan Ross Show include comic Suzi Ruffell and actress Naomi Ackie.
