Jade Goody’s son Bobby, 16, starts work as apprentice making dad Jeff Brazier ‘proud’
JADE Goody's son Bobby, 16, has started work as an apprentice - making his dad Jeff Brazier "proud".
The teenager - who lost his mum to cervical cancer in 2009 - spent his first day out of school and in the work place.
His dad Jeff told his social media followers: "Such a proud day. Bob starts his apprenticeship in London.
"So much progress has been made in such short time and I feel immensely satisfied knowing that he has all of the tools to go and develop at his own pace into whatever he wishes to become. Much love."
With the touching words he shared some photographs of Bobby now and when he was a child.
Jeff has looked after Bobby and his brother Freddie full-time since Jade lost her fight with cancer.
The 16-year-old is the spitting image of his mum with her sparkling smile and beautiful eyes.
Recently there were signs that Bobby wanted to follow in his mum's footsteps into showbiz.
Bobby tagged a talent scout in his photo and has set his profile to 'business', writing in his biography: "DM (direct message) me for promotion."
The Sun Online revealed how 27-year-old Jade defied the odds hours before her death by carrying six-year-old son Bobby to her hospital bed when she heard him crying in the night.
Jade's close friend Kevin Adams told how she found the strength in her final moments to comfort Bobby as he sobbed in his sleep.
Earlier that evening, a doctor who visited Jade at home - where she had a hospital bed in the dining room - told how she had less than 48 hours left to live.
"The medic gathered us all together and said, 'this is it, Jade doesn't have long left'," said Kevin.
"She wasn't eating and the doctor said her health was deteriorating rapidly.
"But that night Jade heard Bobby cry from his bedroom.

"She got up, walked upstairs and pulled him up onto her back and brought him to her hospital bed.
"The next day I told the doctor what had happened and she said, 'no Jade doesn't have the strength to do that because everything in her body is failing'.
"I told her that I saw it with my own eyes.
"She was able to do it because those kids meant everything to her.
"That memory will live with me forever, it is so special to me."
