Jeremy Clarkson breaks silence on sexy new farmhand Harriet as he confirms ‘replaced’ Kaleb Cooper’s future on show

JEREMY Clarkson has broken his silence on hiring his glamorous new farmhand Harriet Cowan.
The Sun were the first to reveal the identity of the mystery blonde after she appeared in the trailer for the upcoming series of Clarkson's Farm.
24-year-old Harriet was selected by Jezza to take over the work of Kaleb Cooper after he was seemingly replaced on the show.
Jeremy was left having to deal with all the goings-on at Diddly Squat Farm after Kaleb left him to head out on tour and pursue his media career.
Now, in a new Instagram video, Jeremy has addressed the recent changes for the first time.
Speaking in one of his many fields, the former Top Gear star said: "There has been lots of reports that Kaleb has been 'replaced' - well, no he hasn't."
Jeremy then went on to clarify the current set-up and just exactly why Harriet was brought into the farm and what Kaleb's future on the show looked like.
He continued: "What happened is this, he went away on his speaking tour, for a couple of months because he imagined that after four years, I'd be able to manage on my own.
" I didn't - I made a complete mess of everything and had to bring in a young girl called Harriet.
"Harriet is brilliant and looked after the fort until he got back.
"That is it - that's the story!"
Jeremy's message confirmed that Kaleb would be sticking around and wouldn't be disappearing quite just yet despite the fears raised in the new trailer.
Despite only turning 24 earlier this year, Harriet is no stranger to the farming world and has already landed a brand deal with Country Moos ahead of the show - a sock company dedicated to cow-designs.
Confirming her involvement in the show, Harriet even shared a video of the trailer to her Instagram account in which she added as a caption: "Something exciting is coming on the 23rd of May."
In a first look at the brand new series, set to debut on May 23, Jeremy will be forced to bring in some help after admitting that Kaleb has "left him in the lurch" after pursuing a showbiz career away from Diddly Squat Farm.
Arriving for an interview with Jeremy, Harriet is asked if she's watched Clarkson's Farm beforehand.
Quietly replying "yeah," she quickly admits she hasn't and has no idea what she is signing up for.
Despite this, Kaleb's replacement gets straight to work with Jeremy quickly remarking: "She's brilliant."
