Stunned Noel Fielding told to ‘f*** off’ by Matt Lucas in explosive Great British Bake Off ‘breakdown’

NOEL Fielding has revealed the time Matt Lucas told him to f*** off on The Great British Bake Off.
The actor and comedian, 50, hosted the Channel 4 series with Matt Lucas for three years.

But despite working well together on screen, Noel has revealed a surprising encounter that resulted in Matt swearing at him.
During filming, as Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood worked on judging contestants' creations, there were a number of dropouts which caused tension.
Explaining the scene, Off The Menu podcast host James Acaster said: "When I was there, Matt was on because there were loads of dropouts."
Noel then revealed: "He was having a breakdown, he told me to f*** off at one point.

"I just came out and I was laughing at him and he was like 'oh f*** off'."
Little Britain star Matt was immediately shocked by his own outburst and quickly apologised.
He told Noel: "I’m really sorry, I’m just really stressed."
Matt, 49, stunned fans when he announced he had quit the big tent in 2022.

The Sun recently revealed how Channel 4 risks losing Bake Off to a rival broadcaster.
Bosses at the cash-strapped broadcaster have yet to renew its contract with Love Productions, the company who make the show.
