Ex On The Beach fans shocked as they find out James Lock’s ‘real age’ as he joins the cast

EX On The Beach fans have been left gobsmacked after realising how old James Lock is.

The Towie hunk has been a regular on TV for over a decade but viewers had forgotten he is now 37 years old.

After seeing his promo pictures of the next series of the show, fans expressed their surprise, with one person writing: “This man is damn near 40 and I just found this out.”

Another said: “Listen I saw he was 37 and I gasped I was like ????”

While someone else added: “I thought he is 40.”

James started out on Towie in 2013 and first appeared on Ex On The Beach in 2022.

Yesterday the full line-up for Celebrity Ex On The Beach was announced – and it includes James’ ex Yazmin Oukhellou.

The Towie pair were together for two years before splitting in August 2019.

The Sun revealed at the time that Yazmin accused Lockie of "cheating" on her with a group of women in a hotel room in Turkey.

It came as a shock to fans as they year before they had decided to quit Towie to concentrate on their romance.

They got back together in October 2020, but just months later they called it quits for good after a furious row in Dubai.

Lockie said at the time: “We’ve broken up. We tried to make it work and we really thought it was going to be different this time but things don’t always work out as you’d expect.

“I have a lot of love for Yaz and a huge amount of respect for her but we’re just better apart."

Celeb Ex On The Beach will also feature Love Island stars Joseph Garrett, Finley Tapp and Finn’s ex Paige Turley, who he split from last year after they won the show together.

Fans will also see Tamara Joy from Married At First Sight Australia, Too Hot To Handle's Chloe Veitch and James Pendergrass, rapper Ivorian Doll and F Boy Island's Jarred Evans.
