Celebrity MasterChef 2023 LIVE — Fans slam judges as Mica and Marcus make it through to the semi-finals
CELEBRITY Masterchef returned with a host of new stars taking to the kitchen, as the 2023 edition of the annual competition got underway.
Fans of the show took to social media to share their disapproval during tonight's episode, with some complaining about the celebrity line-up - especially when the judges let through Mica Ven and Marcus Brigstocke to the semi-finals.
One viewer said: "No way! Totally rigged," and another fumed: "I’m not sure why we are watching Celebrity Masterchef. We’re both sitting here chuntering and swearing at Greg."
Meanwhile, Mica left John Torode and Gregg Wallace open mouthed as she served up a delicious plate of comfort food - with John exclaiming that Mica's chicken wings were in his top ten, ever!
One of tonight's guest judges and former winner McFly's Danny Jones even dubbed Mica's Mac & Cheese as the "best" - yum!

Entertainer and TV presenter Dave will be hoping to add some flare to the MasterChef kitchen.
The star is best known for his work on children’s programme including being a leading presenter on Playhouse Disney as well as the Fun Song Factory.
He has also made a surprise career switch which has seen him wrestling whilst working as a blue coat at Pontins.
Dave is hoping that his stint on the BBC cookery contest will help to re-launch his TV career.

Who is Mica Ven?
Mica Ven is a reality star, hairdresser and Influencer who hails from South London.
She shot to fame in 2018 when she joined Gogglebox for its 11th series, with her husband Marcus.
Away from fame, Mica owns her own salon, while Marcus is a boxing coach and gym owner.
The star is very popular on Instagram, and you can follow her on her handle @realmandyvee.

James has continued to act since ending his run on the E4 show, and has remained mainly in the comedy sector.

He starred as Brian Weaver in fantasy-comedy Zapped from 2016-2018, and appeared in US comedy I Feel Bad in 2018.
From 2017 until 2019, James played Brian Fitzpatrick in sitcom White Gold, reuniting with former Inbetweeners co-star Joe Thomas.
Who is MasterChef The Professionals judge Anna Haugh?
Anna Haugh was born on November 6, 1980 in Dublin, Ireland.
She is best known for being an Irish chef, restaurateur and TV personality.
Anna owns a restaurant called Myrtle located in Chelsea.
The posh restaurant offers a range of modern European cuisines prepared with an Irish influence.
Which movies has Dani Dyer been in?
Dani has quite a few film credits to her name and winning Love Island only added to this.
She landed herself the role of Lucy in movie Heckle.
In the horror flick she plays a rebellious teenager who sneaks off into the woods with her boyfriend at a party to smoke weed and ‘get up to no good’.
She also plays Nancy Francis in 031, another horror movie.
Before reality TV, Dani started off with small parts in the movies The Other Half, Doghouse, Run for Your Wide and Vendetta.
Later, she plated Lauren in We Still Kill the Old Way in 2014 alongside impressive actors like Ian Ogilvy, Alison Doody and Christopher Ellison.

Who is Masterchef judge John Torode?
The Melbourne native is 57 years old and currently lives in London.
At 16 years old, John left school to attend catering college and after a decade of training, he moved to the UK in 1991, to work at a sous chef at Quaglino’s.
While working at Quaglino’s, John first met his fellow MasterChef judge Gregg Wallace, who was running a vegetable supply company.
He is most famous for his role as TV judge on MasterChef, starring in both the British and Australian versions of the show.
