Anne Robinson flirts with Piers Morgan as she opens up on Countdown exit and feud with Rachel Riley

ANNE Robinson enjoyed a flirty chat with Piers Morgan last night as she opened up on her Countdown exit.
The former Weakest Link host quit the Channel 4 show after a year in the hotseat and has no regrets.
She also reflected on Piers's exit from ITV last year when he walked away from Good Morning Britain over his views on Meghan Markle.
“The nation cried for weeks," said Anne. "You know, I am quite proud of you because people are incredibly fond of you because you are fearless. You don’t know what to say now do you?”
The compliments didn't stop there, in a rare show of flattery, Anne told him: “Do you know what? I think as you’ve gotten older, you’ve got better looking. There are bits of grey but it’s quite nice.”
Much was made of Anne's frosty relationship with Countdown co-stars Rachel Riley and Susie Dent over the course of her tenure.
The trio constantly refuted claims they were locked in a bitter feud - although it's clear they weren't the best of friends.
Anne said: "I think Susie Dent is great. Erm, Rachel Riley is completely brilliant at the maths…
"I didn’t not get on, but some performers like a lot of noise around them before they go on air and others like me who are trying to get the contestants to remember what their hobbies are would like some quiet while she’s doing that… it was important to me we took her mic off.”
Asked what she planned to do next, Anne joked: ”I don’t know. I thought if you upset them here, I could just move in… is the money good enough?”
With a final playful comment, she purred: “So, good looking as well.”
