Seven huge Casualty spoilers as BBC drops paramedic special this week after schedule shake-up

CASUALTY will air a special episode this week after Saturday’s instalment was pulled from BBC’s schedule.
The cancellation came after the death of Conservative MP Sir David Amess on Friday, October 15, who died after being stabbed multiple times while hosting a regular constituency surgery in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex.
Later this week, the new scenes will follow Jan, Iain, Teddy and newcomer Sah as they contend with the realities of what it means to be on the front lines.
Here’s a collection of the six biggest moments to watch out for.
1. Sah and Iain get a shock
The shift gets off to the worst start imaginable after Iain accidentally misgenders Sah after they are partnered together for the first time.
On the first shout out, both Iain and Sah are later left shaken when they find a woman who has been dead for months.
Iain encourages Sah to talk about the distressing turn of events, however, they both dismiss it.
They are then sent out to an elderly man, who has been waiting for two hours for help after falling out of bed.
2. Sah is left frustrated
Sah is left frustrated after control diverts them to a more urgent call instead - leaving the elderly man in pain.
When they bring the patient into the ED, it becomes apparent that the woman had grossly misrepresented the urgency of the situation, resulting in Sah to lose their temper.
Sah and Iain are eventually sent out to the elderly man from the original call, but upon arrival, realise that he has attempted suicide.
3. Iain’s past is revisited
With the experience a little to close to him for Iain, Sah tries to offer him some emotional support.
Iain then opens up to Sah about his previous suicide attempt and offers support to Sah as well.
Both become even more anxious when they realise that the patient’s chances of survival are being minimised by the long wait time.
Dylan informs the pair that the patient they brought in - who had attempted suicide - is stable, but both patients have heart problems and there is only one Cath Lab available to use.
4. Sah opens up to Iain
Sah is left horrified when Dylan has to make a call and chooses the younger patient as a priority.
As a result, Sah opens up to Iain and admits they are struggling with the grim realities of the job.
Iain is supportive and reassuring and Sah begins to accept that it can’t be easy for Dylan to make these decisions, either.
5. Teddy is determined to prove himself
At his first call out, Teddy is determined to prove himself to Jan, who in turn seems resolute in being unimpressed.
When Teddy risks his safety by chasing after a thieving patient, Jan is furious with him and outs his reckless behaviour.
6. Teddy faces an alarming situation
Teddy and Jan are called out to Elsie, a woman living alone in a large house in the country.
Elsie insists on serving Jan and Teddy a cup of tea and brownies, however, it becomes apparent that her injury is completely fabricated.
On the way to the ambulance, Teddy notices something strange and decides to investigate - leading him to a barn, where he finds a cannabis farm.
Before he can explore further, Teddy is knocked unconscious by Elsie’s acquaintance Ben, who then throws him into the boot of a car.
7. Jan fears for Teddy
With Teddy missing, Jan becomes suspicious about what they have really been called out for.

Ben relents slightly at that and gestures to the boot of the car, but refuses to let her help Teddy, who is still unconscious.
