Love Island’s Casa Amor cast then and now – From Ovie Soko to Dani Dyer’s love rival

THIS year's Love Island is officially in full swing - but there's one thing that viewers are desperate to make a comeback: Casa Amor.
After speculation that it may not return this year, last month it was confirmed that the spin-off villa WILL appear this series - but in a different location.
Casa Amor was first introduced back in the third season of Love Island in 2017 and has added some spice and unmissable drama to the show over the years.
The famous twist sees the boys and girls get separated into two different villas with brand new Islanders of the opposite sex.
Loyalties are tested as the newbies graft to secure a permanent spot in the main villa, and original couples are often torn apart.
And while there have been some major success stories in Casa Amor, for some it's a very brief time to shine on the ITV2 dating show.
Let's take a look at what happened to some of our favourite and most drama-inducing Casa Amor bombshells from the past three years...
Ovie Soko
Ovie Soko went down in Love Island history as one of the best Casa Amor contestants of all time - and even secured third place in the 2019 series.
He was taken over to the main villa by Anna Vakili, but then entered a friendship couple with eventual champ Amber Gill when she was snubbed by Michael Griffiths - coupling up with bombshell India Reynolds after Amber found a romantic connection with Greg O'Shea.
Ovie and India didn't last outside of the villa, but his popularity did and the hunk went on to enjoy a six-figure fashion deal with Asos, and even a BBC documentary on life after reality TV.

His pre-Love Island basketball career also went from strength to strength, and he is currently signed with Le Mans Sarthe.
Molly Smith
If there's one thing Casa Amor is good for it's the iconic one-liners Islanders come out with during the tense re-coupling, where they find out if their partner has been faithful or not.
Molly Smith was responsible for one of the most famous quips of all time from love rival Shaughna Phillips who drily uttered: "Congrats, hun" when she entered the villa on the arm of Shaughna's original partner Callum Jones.
Over a year later and Molly and Callum are still loved-up - with Molly also enjoying a successful career as a fashion model, working with brands such as ISawItFirst.
Joanna Chimonides
Joanna Chimonides helped create another famous Casa Amor re-coupling moment, with Amber Gill not holding back when she saw who her beau Michael Griffiths had returned with.
While Amber had remained faithfully single, he'd strayed to beauty Joanna - with Amber sparking shockwaves when she muttered "dead ting" about the pair as she sat by the firepit.
Joanna and Michael split soon after leaving the villa, but she is now a social media influencer and has deals with ISawItFirst, Ann Summers, and QUIZ - as well as her own YouTube channel and popular TikTok page.
Jack Fowler
Jack Fowler had viewers' eyes popping out of their heads when he made his Casa Amor debut in 2018, with Laura Anderson quick to snap him up.
He soon found himself at the centre of a scandal, with Georgia Steel claiming that he'd kissed her during a romantic date - with footage showing that she'd actually pulled him in for the snog, which Jack had rejected.
But despite proving his loyalty to Laura A, the pair ended up deciding to stay friends in the villa when she coupled up with Paul, and he surfer Laura C.
The pair split after being dumped, and despite being a semi-pro footballer before going on the show Jack has focused on his modelling and music career post-Love Island.
Ellie Jones
Ellie Jones was the catalyst for Love Island's most complained-about moment in history when she entered Casa Amor and came face-to-face with her ex Jack Fincham in 2018.
His girlfriend Dani Dyer was shown a video clip of his head seemingly being turned in the separate villa, which wasn't exactly the case, and 2,644 furious viewers complained to Ofcom as Dani broke down in tears.
Jack remained faithful, he and Dani won the show and then split up soon after - with both stars going on to welcome babies with other people.
Meanwhile, Ellie has achieved influencer status online and regular posts pics of her outfits and holidays to her 120,000 Instagram followers.
Chyna Ellis
Chyna Ellis caused shockwaves in the very first Casa Amor twist back in 2017, where she almost changed the entire ending of the show.
Kem Cetinay sensationally ditched Amber Davies to couple up with Chyna - but later did a U-turn and reunited with his original partner - with the pair winning the series.
Chyna may have left the villa single but her love life on the outside has been far from lonely, enjoying romances with Love Island bad boy Jonny Mitchell, and Ibiza Weekender's Jordan Davies.
She's now a fashion model and influencer with a quarter of a million Instagram followers.
Jourdan Riane
Poor Jourdan Riane didn't do anything to trigger a scandal other than exist and be beautiful, with she the reason Curtis Pritchard brutally dumped Amy Hart.
Amy had been devoted to her "half-boyfriend" Curtis since the show launched, and was relieved when he returned from Casa Amor single - but it wasn't for lack of trying.

Curtis left Amy inconsolable when he admitted that he'd tried to crack on with stunning Jourdan only to be rejected, with she instead coupling up with Danny Williams.

Amy's heartache triggered 100s of official complaints from concerned viewers as she decided to quit the show, but Jourdan had a happier ending.
While she and Danny split soon after leaving the series, she was snapped up by modelling and acting agencies - making her acting debut in a 2019 short film.
