Tourists can now rent university bedrooms in cities across the world from £15 a night in August
Rooms are mainly offered on a B&B basis and are often situated in the middle of the city, making them perfect for a weekend break
FORGET paying through the nose for a weekend break - savvy travellers should instead be booking into university halls this summer and making huge savings on the cost of a holiday.
While the students have gone home for the holidays, cash-strapped universities open up their halls for tourists to stay in and they always charge a fraction of the price of a hotel in the same location.
The website offers hundreds of halls with both B&B and self-catering in 120 cities across the world and you don't even have to have a single GCSE to your name to book.
While all of the rooms offer great value, some also give an incredible insight into some of the most famous institutions in the world where the brainiest people in history have studied.
