How do I share my screen on WhatsApp?
WHATSAPP has revealed users can now screen share when on video calls - but how on Earth do you use it?
Well, it's actually really simple.
Mark Zuckerberg's Meta, the company behind WhatsApp, says the new feature will make sharing documents for work, browsing photos with family or just helping grandparents with tech support much easier.
It works on group calls, and you'll still be able to see everyone's faces when sharing your screen, should their cameras be switched on.
However, when you're screen sharing, your face will not be visible.
Screen sharing lets you share a live view of your screen during the call.

So, it's important that you have the exact screen you wish to share ready to go before clicking the button that actions it.
Otherwise you may be caught out by an awkward Google search, bad picture or even certain apps you didn't want your family - or bosses - to know you use.
To access the feature, follow these simple steps:
- Open WhatsApp
- Start a video call with a contact of yours
- At the bottom of the screen, there'll be a icon showing a phone with an arrow on it - press it
- This icon is the screen sharing icon
- Confirm that you want to share your screen
- Make sure you've vetted what you're about to share to avoid embarrassment
- Tap on Stop Sharing whenever you'd like to stop sharing your screen
- Don't worry, this won't end the call completely. You'll be able to return to a standard video call

If you wish to use these features today, simply update your app to the latest version on your iOS or Android device, or alternatively your PC.
If that doesn't work, you may have to wait a few days for the change to be rolled out across all devices.
