Facebook Messenger down updates — Hundreds report issues with Meta apps as ‘pictures not sending’ on message service

HUNDREDS of users across the UK and US are reporting problems when sending messages via the Facebook Messenger app.

The Meta-owned platform suffered issues this morning, as users complained of being unable to deliver messages, images and videos.

Reports via also show Meta's other platforms, and Instagram, experienced similar difficulties.

Issues appeared to start dropping at 2.45pm GMT.
