SKY has revealed the release date and pricing for its brand new streaming service that comes without the faff of a satellite dish and installation.

The new product brings your favourite Sky TV channels to your existing TV via Wi-Fi.

It follows the Sky Glass experience in moving away from satellite dishes, which can be unsightly on the side of homes and a road block for renters.

The broadcasting giant has announced that the new product will be available to buy on from October 18.

Sky claims it's the "most affordable way" to get Sky TV and Netflix together, with combined packages from £26 a month on an 18-month contract.

There's a set-up fee of £20 to pay on top.

Alternatively, you can take out a 31-day rolling contract for £29, with a setup fee of £39.95.

More than 120 channels are available.

You can add premium channels like Sky Sports, Sky Cinema and BT Sport for an additional monthly fee.

The box can do all the clever stuff you can expect from Sky Glass, like Restart live TV and Playlist.

Plus you get the signature voice-powered remote, so you can ask it to summon anything you like.

Like most Sky products, additional Sky Stream devices can be added to the package for entertainment in other rooms.

The service also allows you access to Apple TV+, Amazon Prime, Disney+, BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, All4, YouTube, Discovery+ and Peacock - though you'll have to subscribe to any paid ones of course.
