Find lost Sky remote

Losing the remote is one of those frustrating moments we've all been through.

But it need not be.

There is actually a clever way to find your remote instantly thanks to a beep speaker built into it.

It'll sound for 30 seconds.

All you need to do is press the Q button on the front of your Sky Q box.

If it doesn’t work at all then it’s possible that your Sky Q remote is out of battery.

It’s also possible that the Sky Q remote is no longer in the building, and can’t be reached by the Sky Q box.

Find shows faster

Of course, when searching for shows, voice search is best - when it understands what you've said - but it's not for everyone.

That said, typing it all out is a bit of a slog too.

So this little tip might help.

You will notice that each number has several letters on the remote, something we've all seen on phones before.

Well, it turns out these can be used to rapidly type on Sky Q as well.

So you can tap the number 2 once for A, twice for B and three times for C, etc.

Go back to last channel

There's also a clever hack to quickly go back to the last channel you were on without typing in the number.

With the standard remote, all you need to do is press the right blue button.
