The forecast rain will be no issue to DAVE DEXTER, who has progressed well of late.
He is unbeaten in three starts on ground softer than good while his trainer Ralph Beckett is in great form at present.
Constant finished second behind a subsequent Group 3 winner at Hamilton and can chase home the selection ahead of Cosmic Law.

AL QAHWA looked an unlucky loser when second in the Ayr Silver Cup last time out.
He can gain compensation here with plenty of rain in the forecast.
Teruntum Star showed up well for a long way in the Ayr Gold Cup and isn't opposed lightly, while Golden Apollo could bounce back returned to this course.

DIVINITY won a pair of novice events in the summer but has been set stiff tasks the last twice.
This is an easier assignment and she won't be inconvenienced by cut in the ground.
Even Keel was hit with an 8lb rise for his Newmarket win but is respected nonetheless. Sootability is best of the rest.

This can go to JONAH JONES, who was far from disgraced behind the exciting Sangarius at Doncaster.
This is a big drop in class and he should prove too strong for his rivals.
Qutob has gone close on both his starts to date, while Resembling shaped with plenty of promise on debut at Newcastle.

Race 6 - 5.00pm Coral Stayers Handicap
ARROWTOWN has won pulling a train the last twice and she should get her favoured soft ground here.
She will be hard to beat for Mick Easterby despite a 6lb rise in the weights.
Stone The Crows has run with promise at this track and remains open to progress as a stayer. He is feared most ahead of Le Maitre Chat.

The form of FRONTISPIECE'S recent second at Haydock has been franked by the winner.
Soft ground holds no fears for Sir Michael Stoute's four-year-old and he can gain an overdue success.
Epaulement will be a big player if he can get a good early position from his wide draw, while Master Carpenter is worth a place on the shortlist.
