PSG planning to raid Everton for star midfielder Idrissa Gueye after failing to land him in January

PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN are back in for Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye.
The French Champions had a £27million bid for the defensive midfield player rejected in January.
But now they are ready to try again and believe that Everton could be tempted to sell after completing the signing of Andre Gomes.
Gueye, 29, still has three years remaining on the £75,000-a-week contract which he signed with Everton last year.
But he was so keen to join PSG in January that he travelled to Paris on the final day of the transfer window in the hope of a late deal being agreed.
The Senegalese international is currently on African Cup of Nations duty in Egypt.
But he is excited by the prospect of playing Champions League football and is making no secret of his desire to join Thomas Tuchel’s team.
TEST OF RESOLVE
Tuchel wants the tough-tackling Gueye to replace Adrien Rabiot, who is set to sign for Juventus as a free agent after running down his contract at the Parc des Princes.
And he has given the green light to another £27m bid to test Everton’s resolve to hang on to their current player of the year.
But Everton value Gueye at a minimum of £35m and will not sell for less than that figure despite paying only £7m when they signed him from Aston Villa three years ago.

And even that might not be enough to convince Marco Silva to part company with one of his most important players as he tries to build a squad capable of disrupting the Premier League’s top six next season.
The Merseysiders will conclude a £22m deal for Gomes after his successful season on loan from Barcelona.
And now they are hoping to agree a fee for centre-half Kurt Zouma despite Chelsea’s current transfer ban.
