Everton face another fight to keep hold of Idrissa Gueye with PSG to reignite £30m transfer interest

EVERTON could face another fight to keep Idrissa Gueye out of the clutches of Paris Saint-Germain.
The French champions failed in their attempts to sign the influential midfielder last season as the Toffees held firm.
But according to reports in France, PSG could return with a renewed bid to get the Senegal star over to the capital this summer.
claim Gueye is still rated highly by boss Thomas Tuchel despite opting to sign Leandro Paredes ahead of him in January.
They say Tuchal wants to revive his interest in the 29-year-old, who would command a fee of around £30million.
It appears there is a concern within the club that the team lacks pace in midfield, which has caught them out in games in Europe over the past couple of years.
Tuchal is said to have discussed the problem with owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi, and that Gueye's name has come up in those talks.
PSG have already captured the services of Ander Herrera on a free transfer.
The Spanish international was among a list of 15 players Manchester United have today announced have been released by the club.

But it appears PSG still want more options in their midfield, and the dynamism of Gueye coupled with his talent on the ball has marked him out.
Everton boss Marco Silva made Gueye a central part of his plans last season, working in tandem with Andre Gomes successfully.
He is still hoping to secure Gomes on a permanent deal from Barcelona, and would rather Gueye remains at the club to play alongside him.
