Celtic TV goes down before Champions League clash with Linfield with fans furious after missing Scott Sinclair’s opening goal

CELTIC TV crashed before the club’s clash with Linfield – meaning Hoops fans MISSED Scott Sinclair’s opening goal.

Bhoys supporters were left furious when - the only broadcaster for the - went down.

It meant they failed to see Sinclair’s strike and just over half an hour of the match.

After fans voiced their frustration on social media, Celtic TV chiefs took to Twitter to apologise for the blackout and eventually posted another link for the Hoops faithful to try.

That came after they had asked for “patience”.

One Hoops diehard wrote: “Celtic TV f***ing disgrace, call yourselves one of the biggest clubs on the planet but can’t sort out a stream.”

Another added: “Really should have prepared for the amount of traffic you will get on a sold out game only showing on Celtic TV."

Sinclair netted again, and Tom Rogic and Stuart Armstrong were also on target as Celtic coasted to a 4-0 victory on the night.

The 6-0 aggregate win sets up a tough clash with Norwegian champions Rosenborg in the third round.
