RAFA BENITEZ is making a shock bid to sign title-winning Leicester skipper Wes Morgan.
The Newcastle boss wants more experience at the back and will try to talk centre-half Morgan into joining the Toon.
It will be Wor Wes if Benitez can come up with the right offer for both the Foxes and their powerful defender, who signed a three-year deal last July.

Newcastle often struggled at the back in their run to the Championship title and Benitez also likes Hull’s Harry Maguire.
However, Morgan is top of the Spaniard’s agenda and Newcastle will open negotiations on a price.
Morgan, 33, has kept his form this season despite Leicester’s dip after winning the title.
The switch will come down to how badly Leicester want to keep Morgan.
