Liverpool transfer news: Reds boss Jurgen Klopp wants Chelsea target Geoffrey Kondogbia in £18.5million deal
Inter Milan ace failing to get games and could be heading to Anfield on loan in January ahead of permanent summer switch

LIVERPOOL have reportedly joined Chelsea in the race to sign Inter Milan misfit Geoffrey Kondogbia.
The versatile Frenchman is struggling for games this season despite costing £26million from Monaco in 2015.
Summing signings Joao Mario and Ever Banega have moved ahead in the San Siro pecking order while new boss Stefano Pioli continues to hand chances to Marcelo Brozovic and Gary Medel.

Kondogbia is believed to be attracting interest from a number of Ligue 1 teams including Marseille, and has also been linked with a January move to Premier League title hopefuls Chelsea.
However, La Gazzetta dello Sport via claims Liverpool have now jumped to the front of the queue, with Jurgen Klopp keen to bolster his ranks this winter.
The Reds have slipped four points behind Chelsea in the table after succumbing to a 4-3 defeat against Bournemouth on Sunday.
A defensive midfielder of Kondogbia’s quality might just have made the difference when Liverpool led the Cherries 3-1.

And Klopp is apparently keen on striking a loan deal as he continues his Anfield revolution.
The report adds Liverpool will include an £18.5m clause to make the deal permanent if they wish next summer, although Chelsea are sure to challenge if an offer ends up being made.
